“I have had MS for 26 years and had a fall and leg break 6 months ago. It’s very easy to go downhill after an accident. But, using the MOTOmed, enables me to get my daily exercise. I started cycling in gear two and six-months on I can now peddle in gear 7. Every day I try to do 10 minutes in the morning and 10 in the afternoon. I put on some fun music to get everything working and to keep me motivated. Thank you very much for sending the cable. Best wishes Melanie." 🙏

New research suggests that fast, assisted exercise may help improve some common Parkinson’s symptoms, including muscle stiffness, tremors, and difficulty moving.

What is “Forced Exercise”? 🚴
It’s a form of exercise where a person’s legs are moved faster than they could pedal on their own. Research has shown that cycling at speeds of up to 90 revolutions per minute may lead to significant improvements in Parkinson’s symptoms.

Devices such as the MOTOmed viva2 Parkinson make it possible to use this type of assisted exercise at home and as part of a regular routine.

The research is promising and suggests that fast, assisted cycling may support better movement, walking ability, tremor control, and everyday activities.

I have been using the Struzzo for a while now and I don't know how I would ever live without it. Being able to stand up independently and move around the house gives me the ability to do normal things.

My physiotherapist says that the Struzzo keeps my bone density from deteriorating and stops ligaments from tightening up and all the other benefits from standing up. For me its been a lfe changing aid.
