I'm very excited about the Global Reiki Summit this year!
I've been asked to be an affiliate - but that's not why I'm this excited (I wouldn't have said yes if it was!) - some of my all-time big Reiki heroes are going to be speaking! Reiki giants, if you will -
1. My Reiki Master Teacher, Torsten Lange - Hay House author (their only teacher for Reiki), teacher, founder of the London Reiki Academy, and creator of "Reiki Science" (as well as being a leader within the UK Reiki Federation);
2. Justin B. Stein - Reiki Research - I am in complete awe of Justin Stein's work - I discovered his thesis at exactly the right time, and it gave me key insight and understanding I was searching for, whilst writing my Reiki level 1 manual, several years ago. His ongoing work continues to shed a grounded, informed, trusted perspective on new information and theories regarding Reiki's roots and evolution;
3. Author, therapist and teacher Frank Arjava Petter ("The Original Reiki Handbook of Dr. Mikao Usui" and co-author of "The Hayashi Reiki Manual", and a translation of 125 Waka poems of the Meiji Emperor, amongst others).

These are three of several such highly respected and renowned figures who will be speaking during November's Conference - I urge you to check out the speaker list for yourself. I ran out of space and time to include everyone I'd have liked to on this post - for example, the renowned Author, Teacher and Researcher Frans Stiene will be speaking as well! So check out the list and the rest of the details for yourself - I'd encourage you to explore (you can use the link below) and see whether you're as enthusiastic and excited as I am, about this Summit!

Registration is free, and you also have the option of lifetime access too - if you're like me and timing is a factor, that means you're guaranteed to be able to watch the speakers you really want to - and to re-watch afterwards to glean even more of their wisdom and insight.

I hope to see you there! (n.b. if you use the link below to register, you'll be supporting me as well!)

Animal Reiki is flippin amazing! I just love animals so much, and Animal Reiki was a part of my path which it feels like the Universe gave it to me as a present. My Animal Reiki grew legs pretty soon after I fostered my (foster fail) soul cat Tiggs, and boy did it give me some surprises! Some existential surprises as well as practitioner surprise - but that's for another time.

Have you experienced or heard about Animal Reiki? Many people haven't even heard of it as a therapeutic or enrichment modality. But it's been quietly being practised for decades (or longer!), by some people, evolving as a therapy, and recently the UK Reiki Federation and other UK Reiki Council member organisations, in conjunction with LANTRA and the Royal Veterinary College, developed UK National Occupational Standards for Animal Reiki! Markers of trust and best practice ways of working, anyone? Once I got my training and professional insurance as an Animal Reiki professional practitioner, my next goal became UK Reiki Federation accreditation - which I achieved in around 2022.

And that was just the beginning...

I just love Animal Reiki *so much*!!! It's been an unexpected part of my Reiki path, which in turn has led me to some very unexpected and utterly mind-bending experiences and discoveries!

When we're aware of the different phases and behaviours of energy, and how that expresses through us and the world around us, that can be such a game-changer! I share tips and practical ideas for ways to integrate supporting yourself through these patterns and influences, with my clients, my students and in my online course "5 Elements and You".

Once you know and understand the basics, you start to see them everywhere, and that is when the real magic begins!
..

(I have availability on Friday for client treatments at the The Salt & Rock Shop on Fridays. DM if you're interested - I'd love to work with you!)

I'm hosting this event for people whose fur-babies (like mine) don't do well during Fireworks season. If that's you, this will be a relaxing, accessible, calming and inclusive session, run online so you can join from the cosiest safe space. It'll be relaxing for you as well as your animal companion(s), and you'll both be able to receive the Reiki which will be flowing.

You don't have to be a meditator or into "woo woo" to enjoy and benefit from this session - it works on several different levels, and I'll walk you through the whole experience.

Tickets are by donation, so it's accessible for everyone, whilst supporting me and enabling me to offer sessions like this for humans and animals.

I hope you can make it! If it's your first time, you'll probably be surprised at how effective my Reiki meditations can be for animals who are feeling stressed and jumpy. It's not unusual for them to fall asleep - and you might want to, as well!

Details are on my "link in bio" - or you're welcome to message me with any questions if that's more your style.

I hope you and your lovely companion animal can make it!
