Young people’s mental health matters and sometimes the hardest part is knowing when to ask for help.

Young people may experience stress, anxiety, low mood or feelings of being overwhelmed. Changes in behaviour, sleep, appetite, friendships, school attendance or mood can sometimes be signs that they’re struggling.

💚 If you're worried about a young person:
• Start a conversation and listen without judgement
• Let them know they don't have to deal with things alone
• Encourage them to talk to someone they trust
• Speak to your GP if you're concerned about their mental health

You don't need to have all the answers. Listening, supporting and asking for help can make a real difference.

If you are a young person struggling with your mental health, please remember: you are not alone, and it's okay to ask for help.
