We had our first go at dressage today with Hamish 🥰 and I’m so chuffed with him!

Such a big ask for him in a very different environment, but he coped so well and really kept a lid on it 😇 Just a little on the bubbly side! 😂

It was also my first test in 3 years, and I absolutely loved it! I can’t wait for our next one. ❤️

I can’t thank Lynne R Reid enough for letting me work with him ❤️

Do you know all of the services I offer? 👀🐴

✨ Schooling / Exercising – I can help work on any issues under saddle, but I can also ride if you just need some help keeping your horse fit and in work.

✨ Clipping – A variety of clips, including blending legs. I’m very patient with tricky or nervous horses.

✨ Backing – Starting young horses with groundwork, introducing tack and working through the backing process at their own pace.

✨ Training – Helping owners with flatwork and schooling. I’m also happy to jump on and ride your horse to get a feel for what they’re like and help identify any areas that need work.

✨ Long Reining – A brilliant way to exercise horses of any age and can be hugely beneficial to their ridden work, helping with balance, strength, rhythm and confidence.

✨ Behavioural Problems – Whether it’s on the ground or ridden, there’s usually a reason behind the behaviour. Sometimes it just takes a little patience and problem solving to work out why. ❤️

✨ Training Hires & Competitions – If you’re feeling a little nervous about taking your horse somewhere new, I can ride/work them myself or come along to a show and support you and your horse.

✂️ Mane & Tail Tidies – Pulling or cutting, always following the lead of the horse and keeping their comfort in mind.

If there’s something you’re struggling with, or something you’d like help with, feel free to PM me.

📩 PM me for bookings or more information.

Molly today with her owner, Helen 💫

I’m on the ground with this one, helping Helen with the backing process — reading Molly every second, making sure she feels calm and reassured, while also communicating to Helen what I’m seeing and feeling from the ground 👌

Only the second time Molly has been ridden, and what a superstar she is! 🥰

I also offer one-to-one backing support, where I can work alongside owners as they back their own horse. Whether it’s helping with the groundwork and preparation, introducing the rider, or simply being there to guide and reassure both horse and rider through those first steps.

Every horse is different, so the process is always kept at their individual pace ❤️

If you’re looking for some support with backing or starting your horse, feel free to PM me for more information

A mini hack on the long reins for Maisie, after her session in the arena ✨

A nice way to finish the session, getting her out and about and building strength and confidence along the way 🥰

She’s a good lass 💖
