A rather unusual tattoo for a rather unusual piece of Discworld lore… and I absolutely loved working on this one!

Karen wanted to cover up this old tattoo with a Terry Pratchett inspired ‘Shambles’ with some canon lore; and some personalised pieces.

For those familiar with the Discworld, you’ll know that a Shambles is essentially a collection of all the things you’d need to survive when the world inevitably goes completely sideways.

One of those tattoos that’s not just a picture — it’s a whole little story wrapped around the arm.

This piece was done in memory of a friend who was taken far too soon. A small tattoo, but one carrying a huge amount of meaning for those who knew and loved him.

Too many men still feel like they have to keep everything bottled up, put on a brave face and deal with things alone. You don’t have to.

Talk to your mates. Check in on the bloke who seems fine. Ask twice if you need to. And if you’re struggling yourself, please speak to someone.

Andys Man Club is doing some brilliant work helping men have those conversations. Their message is simple: “It’s okay to talk.”
