Rotolok is a global market leader manufacturing and supplying process control valves and equipment. The newly constructed premises, of 50,000 sq.

Founded by Dan McCauley as a Limited company in 1973, Rotolok designed and subcontracted work from an office facility in Burgess Hill, Sussex. The company soon expanded to their own purpose built factory in Bampton Devon, with the ability to manufacture all key equipment. With continued growth the millennium year saw Rotolok commence their move to a new headquarters in Tiverton. ft., first contained the group sales and administration departments, while also providing additional new factory production space. In 2007 this move was completed. The modern site allowed Rotolok to centralise its fabrication workshops, along with the sales and administration departments, for the entire Rotolok Holdings Group. To meet ever increasing market demand, Rotolok re-equipped its Machining and Fabrication facility with the addition of high technology horizontal CNC machining centres with both six and twelve pallet, pre-loading stations, the latter having replaced 3 CNC dual pallet machines. This £2 million upgrade enables our production to substantially increase and without any impairment to quality, also gives the company greater flexibility as the machines can be programmed to work several hours unmanned, keeping their production up and the costs down. A further benefit comes with machining and drilling of large end covers, together with taper bore valves and the large valve bodies. The company now has the facility of covering the entire range of products in house, from Airlocks through to Conveying Diverters and Slide Valves, with the upgrade ensuring accuracy, interchangeability and cost control giving its customers a high precision valve at a competitive price.

Celebrating 30 Years at Rotolok! 🎉

A huge congratulations to our Group Managing Director, Sean Swales, who this month joins Rotolok’s prestigious 30 Years of Service Club, alongside fellow long-serving colleagues Ann McCauley, Simon Bates, Claire Hayes, Andrew Tackle, Martyn Stoneman and Tony Weiss.

Reflecting on the milestone, Sean commented:

What a show - and what a final day to close it off!

The Rotolok India team have had the best time at ANUGA FoodTec India this week. Our stand has been full of interest from start to finish, and we’re so glad to have connected with so many people from across the sector to show them just what our spice and bulk material handling solutions can do!
