Waymarkers Waymarkers draws its name from Jeremiah 31:21: “Set up waymarks.” These simple markers—stones or branches—guided travelers home through wild terrain.

Waymarkers honors the sacred truth that the natural world accompanies us, leading us toward belonging. There is a deep longing in our Western culture to wander and to have this wayfairing lead to deep meaning, renewed ways of seeing, and back to our own sense of grounded belonging to this Earth and the communities in which we live. However, these way-calling times can be fraught with anxiety and awe, wonderment and worry. How does one begin this kind of journey that transforms the soul and the very story of our lives? Waymarkers provides mindfulness practices and participation, sacred places, and inspiring prose that will support you as you accept your soul journey; as you cross thresholds through both wise and wild places; as you engage the forested descent into fear and failure; and as you return home again, filled with insight, community, and commitment to restorative justice for all planetary life. Waymarkers comes along side your journey as a guide, incorporating spiritual traditions that weave the numinous natural world back into our lives. Waymarkers guides you along your personal path of spiritual formation to receive guidance from your particular places, cultivating a sacred perception of the soul and wild nature."

Sacred Samhain
Friday, October 30, 2026
12–2pm Pacific
Live on Zoom + recording
$40

On Friday, October 30, I’ll be gathering a circle for Sacred Samhain—a two-hour virtual ritual retreat rooted in the Celtic Wheel of the Year and the wisdom of the natural world.

Together, we’ll enter the season through the wisdom of the Crone, the plants, and the elemental power of fire. We’ll create a temenos, honor lineage and ancestry, make space for grief and release, and listen inwardly for what is ready to be swept away.

And we’ll make something with our hands: a traditional besom broom to carry with us into the dark season—a ritual companion and symbol of sovereignty, discernment, blessing, and the wisdom to clear what no longer belongs.

No previous experience is needed. Come as you are.

Registration for the 2027 Wildwood Sisterhood—a modern mystery school for women—opens tomorrow, October 1.

2027 Wildwood Sisterhood
12 months • Online • Modern Mystery School for Women

For twelve months, we will turn toward myth and the living world as sources of wisdom, initiation, and remembrance.

Our year-long companion story is the Handless Maiden—a story of severance, descent, transformation, restoration, and return. We will follow her through the seasons, allowing the story to become a lens through which we encounter our own lives.

Along the way, we will work with sacred phenology, personal mythology, eco-spirituality, ritual, and the rhythms of the Earth to ask a deeper question:

What is my particular soul work with the world? What am I here to tend, create, protect, remember, and bring into being?

The Wildwood Sisterhood is an invitation to recover that relationship—to listen again for the wisdom of place, season, story, and the more-than-human world.

And for those who join the Waymarkers circle, a $300 discount code is available to the first 20 registrants. The code expires October 31, 2026.

WILDWOOD SISTERHOOD
A Year in the Wildwood

Wildwood Sisterhood is a year-long Modern Mystery School for women with the 2027 cohort beginning January 2027.

Together, we enter the transformative tale of The Handless Maiden as a living story—one that becomes a map for our own departures, initiations, losses, restorations, and returns.

Across the turning of a full year, we journey through the archetypal landscape of myth, season, and the sacred terrain of our own storied souls.

We will create a Personal Mythology Wheel and a Sacred Phenology Wheel, learning to read the wisdom of story and season—and to notice the more-than-human beings participating in our unfolding.

Here, we engage:

Myth as a way of knowing.
Nature as teacher and mirror.
Ritual as a way of becoming.
Sisterhood as a vessel for transformation.

This is a year of entering the wildwood—not to find a prescribed answer to who you are, but to listen more deeply for the story that is already unfolding through you.

A modern Mystery School for women
rooted in myth, nature, and the wild wisdom of the soul.

We entered the dark. Not because we were lost or afraid, but because some things can only be encountered there.

Around the labyrinth, we named what was ready to die—not death as an ending, but the sacred relinquishing of what could no longer accompany us into our belonging.

We carried those things to the water and released them.

Then, beneath white shrouds, we entered a ritual passage through death, surrender, and the mystery of becoming.

Now we are home. And the work of integration begins.

We began in the dark. Not because we were lost, but because some things can only be encountered there.

At the WROP, we entered the labyrinth three times—moving through a ritual of death, surrender, and sovereignty. We walked beneath the veil of what was ending, what was being released, what could no longer come with us into the life ahead.

There was candlelight. There were shrouds. There were women moving slowly through the dark, each making her own passage.

And now we are home.

The ritual is not over simply because we have left the mountain. This is the tender, unfinished work of return: listening for what has changed, making room for what has been claimed, and allowing the experience to become part of our lives.

I am still finding my way through the photographs, and through the remembering. There is much more to come.

I am up in the mountains preparing, with a group of beautiful elders, for a women’s rite of passage retreat.

Rites of passage have three phases, often called separation, initiation, and return. We are pairing these movements with the Maiden, Mother, and Crone, calling in stories that speak deeply to these passages in a woman’s life, and assigning colors that carry their own symbolic resonance.

The Maiden is red, for her me**es and the blood of becoming.

The Mother is green, for her generative capacity and the abundance of life.

The Crone is white, for wisdom, elderhood, and unitive consciousness.

And now, as we prepare, I am finding these stories and symbols showing themselves through the land around us—the colors, the textures, the season itself. It feels as though the mountain is participating in the telling.

Tomorrow, we welcome the women into the rites.
