I’m a qualified sleep practitioner. And guess what? I don’t sleep perfectly every night either! 😂
And you know what? That’s absolutely fine.
Because good sleep isn’t about perfection.
One bad night doesn’t mean you’ve suddenly developed a sleep problem. And occasionally abandoning your usual routine doesn’t mean you’ve undone all your good habits.
What matters far more is what happens consistently over time.
In fact, becoming overly focused on getting everything ‘right’ can sometimes create more anxiety around sleep, which is the very last thing we want!
So here’s your reminder that you’re allowed to be human.
You’re allowed to have late nights, disrupted nights and nights that don’t quite go to plan.
Healthy sleep habits should support your life, not stop you living it. 💙
And yes, sometimes I need to remind myself of that too! 😉
💬 Are you guilty of putting too much pressure on yourself to sleep perfectly?
