3 Things you DON'T need to do if you're struggling to Sleep.
If you want to be sleeping through the night by the end of August, you wouldn't need to:
❌ Give up Coffee - Caffiene, timed right, can you be an amazing tool for intense training sessions. Timed right it can also help with productivity and focus. We just need to be mindful of your personal cutoff for drinking coffee.
❌ Go to bed super early - it's more important that you find a consistent bed time. In fact, going to bed unusually early can make your sleep issues worse. You'll likely struggle to fall asleep and may find yourself waking up during the night, if meal timing has changed too
❌ Take Sleeping Tablets/Supplements - These are just a band aid - They're not addressing the root cause of your sleep issues. They'll often leave you super groggy in the morning and doses often need to be increased to have the same effect over time.
Because all these things do is leave you feeling frustrated, low on energy, groggy and unable to think straight 🥺
What you really need is a multi-pronged approach, providing your body with the right signals at the right time of day along with a decent dose of nutrition thrown in for good measure!
