I have a rare opening for a new private client at my Hayes studio. If you are looking to improve your fitness, improve your flexibility or improve what’s going on in your head then I’m here to help! I’ve taught yoga and karate for over 25 years and have trained under some of the best teachers in the world in both disciplines. I am a Zen Buddhist monk and meditation teacher and years of experience have shown me that both yoga and meditation can be life-changing. If you are keen to try something different then drop me a DM or message [email protected]

One of the things I love to do is to introduce people to meditation. It may be easy for a dedicated Zennie to sit for ages and enjoy the experience, but many people find it very uncomfortable to be inside their own head with no distractions.
I don’t see this as any kind of failing, it’s not a competition, we are all where we are and that’s fine.
Yesterday was a yoga day. A day of joining with others and sharing physical practice, but after all the buzz of lunch and laughter we came upstairs to sit quietly…just for 20mins. It may well have been the first time some of those people had ever meditated. It was informal, no pressure, no rules, just sit. Calm the body, calm the mind. It’s my hope that this gentle positive experience of meditation will encourage them to explore it further, whether at home or with my Zen group at YogaFeeling Either way it’s a privilege to bring meditation into people’s lives.

If you would like to explore meditation please feel free to get in touch. My Zen group runs every Saturday at 14:30 and we welcome anyone who would like to explore Zen or Meditation at any level. No pressure, you can just come and sit if you’d like to see how it feels.

Have a great New Year!

An early start and a fab morning full of private lessons, a busy weekend of classes in general…now it’s time to relax. I’m utterly grateful to have such amazing students 😊

So much to look forward to in February. We have the start of our second teacher training, with some utterly brilliant trainees AND we have a fantastic WEEKEND RETREAT to look forward to at the end of the month!
If you are interested in becoming a 200hrs yoga teacher or you fancy a weekend yoga retreat in February to shake the winter blues, then DM for more info.
