Here you have two men, standing in front of the same building, The Guyana Police Force Headquarters Eve Leary. Both of them were at the time Assistant Commissioners of Police.
In the building behind them, the man on the right, Calvin Brutus was accused of enriching himself through police procurement systems.
In the building across the road from that one, the man on the left Fizal Karimbaksh stands accused of ra**ng a young lady who was seeking to join the Guyana Police as a young recruit and at some point thereafter, threatened to shoot and kill her, based on an official report she made to the police.
Within hours of word spreading that the man on the right, Calvin Brutus is accused, he was removed from his position. Within days he was sent off the job and within weeks more 350 charges were laid against him.
Within hours of word spreading that the man on the left, Fizal Karimbaksh is accused, HIS VICTIM WAS REMOVED from her position. Within days calls began to mount for his removal and those were ignored. Hours and days after heading to weeks and a man who is accused of ra**ng and threatening to kill a woman still sits on his throne.
Within days, weeks and months, government politicians including the attorney general spoke publicly on the matter involving the man on the right, days have passed and he remains silent on this grave and serious allegations of r**e involving the man on the left.
The man on the right is accused of robbing the state of material things.
The man of the left is accused of robbing a human of her dignity and pride.
Ladies and gentlemen, while you soak down your clothes on this Saturday morning.... think of how unbalanced the scale of justice is and think about how convenient and one-sided the system is applied and ask yourself this one question....

Join the calls for Fizal Karimbaksh to be send home and and for him to be placed before the courts for the allegations of R**e and Death threats which were leveled against him as sitting Deputy Commissioner of Police. Call on his wife to call him home, call on his daughters to call him home and call on his sons to tell him stop embarrassing the family further.
