Our Outreach Team 3, alongside Social Worker Wu and Therapy Manager Alison, recently led a fun Circle Activity session for 10 students with special educational needs at a local primary school in rural Changsha. It was a wonderful morning of connection, learning, and laughter, and the children had a fantastic time!

As Summer draws to a close, we are looking back on the fun-filled Ability Camps we were blessed to be able to run over the past few months. These photos are from the Ability Camp we held for the children in our Enquan Yuan family. A total of 33 children participated, supported by 25 staff members and volunteers. Through sensory storytelling, games, music, and hands-on activities, children from Enquan Yuan enjoyed a fun-filled day that encouraged learning, connection, and self-expression.

During a recent home visit, Mingming eagerly grabbed Teacher Ming's hand, excited to head outside and play with his brother, Yangyang. Although both boys were initially shy and hesitant, their confidence quickly grew once they reached the sports court.

Soon, Yangyang was happily chasing after his older brother, trying to catch him for a hug, while Mingming playfully dashed away. "Yangyang was laughing so hard he was breathless. Watching them run happily—their gaits growing steadier and their speed increasing as they occasionally playfully tussled—was a joy," the team shared.

For children who have had limited opportunities to explore and play outside, moments like these are so important. Seeing the boys' smiles and growing confidence brought the team so much joy that day.
