What does “luxury” mean to you?

Our attention is limited. What we notice again and again gradually becomes more important to us. And the way we interpret what happens to us matters too: the same moment can feel like a burden, a lesson, a signal, or even a gift.

When we consciously observe what is happening to us and start looking at a situation from more than one perspective — asking what it might be trying to show us — we can often learn more from it than we expect. I finally understand what attentive listening really means, and I’m trying to practise it.

I manage this best while training, which is why sport has taken on a completely different meaning in my life. It has taught me how to focus fully, alongside all the things we usually associate with it: discipline, consistency, strength, and so on.

But I think exercise gives athletes much more than that. To me, it can also lay the foundations for mental growth.

The knowledge may have been there all along. Yet the more we live, the easier it becomes to move away from the truly valuable things that make this life worth living as healthily and fully as we can.

Everything we do affects our surroundings. We can choose what meaning we give to a moment. That part is up to us.

It is worth learning from small children. They are fascinated by everything. Even if something is taken away from them, they soon find something else that amazes them.

Maybe that is why they can be so much more carefree, happy, and fully present in the moment.

🇭🇺Neked mit jelent a „luxus”?

Challenge Yourself 🤸🏻‍♀️ 🏋🏻‍♀️
I started gymnastics at 36. After four kids. With no guarantees of how far I could go.

Some might think it’s too late to start something completely new. I see it differently.

My years as an athlete taught me that progress doesn’t come from dreaming alone. It comes from showing up, practicing, failing, learning, and trying again.

And now, as a mother of four, I want my children to see that growing older doesn’t mean we have to stop growing.

I don’t know how far gymnastics will take me. But I’m excited to find out.

Dream big. Practice with purpose. Believe in yourself. And see what you’re capable of.

Be your own role model. ❤️

Fogalmam sincs, meddig jutok a talajtornában. De nagyon kíváncsi vagyok rá! :)

Merj nagyot álmodni! Gyakorolj tudatosan! Higgy magadban! És derítsd ki, mire vagy képes!

Legyünk önmagunk példaképei! 🏋🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️

Weekend Challenge | Which one are you: Yoga Lover 💥 or Mobility Lover🫯 ?

At first glance, these two positions may look very similar, but they challenge the body in different ways. In one, you’re mainly holding a position; in the other, you’re actively controlling and using the range of motion available to you.

So here’s the question: which one feels harder for you? 🤭

Try both and notice where you feel the difference. Ankles? Hips? Knee control? Balance? Or maybe one side feels completely different from the other?

That’s exactly what I love about mobility. It shows us more than how far we can move into a position. It also shows how much strength, stability and control we have within that range.

Tell me in the comments:
Yoga Lover or Mobility Lover? 🧘‍♀️💫
And which area of your body feels the most restricted or needs more strength?

If you want, I’ll share the progressions too, so we can build it step by step together.

🇭🇺
Te melyik vagy: Yoga Lover 💥 vagy Mobility Lover 🫯?

Első ránézésre nagyon hasonló a két pozíció, mégis egészen más kihívást adnak a testnek. Az egyikben inkább megtartod a helyzetet, a másikban aktív kontrollal próbálod használni azt a mozgástartományt, ami rendelkezésedre áll.

És most jön a kérdés: neked melyik nehezebb? 🤭

Boka? Csípő? Térd körüli kontroll? Egyensúly? Esetleg egyik oldal egészen más, mint a másik?

Számomra pont ezért érdekes a mobility.

Shift your perspective.

Many people get stuck with New Year’s resolutions because the goal they set doesn’t actually match what they truly need.

What if we looked at movement differently?

What if we trained to set a good example for our children? To move freely with them. To be part of their play instead of only watching from the side.

Be honest with yourself:
How often have you jumped on the trampoline with them?
Climbed on the playground?
Gone cycling together?

And before anyone misunderstands me: this is not about creating guilt.

It’s about understanding what may be behind that moment when you tell your child, “I can’t play right now,” and then immediately feel guilty about it.

Maybe you never saw that example growing up. Maybe no one ever showed you that movement can be a form of connection. Or maybe your attention is simply pulled in so many directions that there is hardly anything left for the present moment.

What children often need more than things is to feel noticed. To feel that we are truly with them in the time we spend together.

Imagine wanting to spend time with someone, but they keep looking at their phone. Or they look at you, but you can tell their mind is somewhere else.

It hurts as an adult too. Even more as a child.

I train because I don’t want the limits of my own movement to stop me from sharing the moments my children want to experience with me.

I want to run with them. Climb. Squat. Play on the floor. Ride bikes. And if I have any say in it, still be moving at 90.

Start small.

Go for a walk together. Let them see you trying. Do a few squats.

And one day you may suddenly realize you have a 19 kg “ankle weight” hanging from you. 🤣

Behave like the parent and role model you would have needed too.

Felnőttként is fáj. Gyerekként még inkább.

Azért edzek, hogy azokat a pillanatokat, amelyeket a gyerekeim velem szeretnének megélni, a saját mozgásom korlátai miatt ne kelljen kihagynom.

Szeretnék futni velük. Mászni. Guggolni. Földön játszani. Biciklizni.
