Hard to believe it’s almost that time of year again, but I’m excited to announce that my 6-Week Xmas Program for Women is back for its 4th year! 🎄✨
Every year this program fills up!

🎯 Who is this for?
Everyone enters the Christmas season with different goals, and this program is built to support yours—whatever it may be:

1. Drop a few pounds and feel great ahead of Christmas.

2. Maintaining & preventing a gain is also a worthy goal: Keep the usual pre-Christmas weight gain at bay.

3. No need to wait for NY: Start now so you don’t face the struggle of motivating yourself in January.

4. Enjoy the Xmas season stress-free: Learn how to balance social events and Christmas seamlessly.
💡 How It Works
•Daily Group Support: I’m active in the group every day to answer questions, post tips, and keep the motivation up.

•Personal Accountability: Includes your weekly private check-in and weigh-in

🗓️ Program Details
Start Date: Mon, 9th Nov. Closing date next Wednesday 4th Nov!!

Eating differently on the weekend isn’t a failure. In fact, I think it is really important and I encourage it - if you try to make the weekend the same as mid-week it won’t feel like the weekend. We need our weekends to feel like weekends! I am not saying it is a free for all … it really isn’t if you are serious about losing weight but there is room for flexibility when you make good choices.

And flexibility is so important! Progress isn’t perfection — it’s consistency. Most of the damage is probably done the next day when you think you have “ruined everything!!!”

Honestly, it amazes me that 25 years later, the exact same noise is still complicating nutrition!

🍎Fruit is healthy, reduces your risk of disease and people don’t eat enough of it! If you want to reduce sugar in your diet focus on foods which offer little or no nutrition i.e., biscuits and skittles and leave fruit alone!

🥔Potatoes are healthy. (Vitamins, fiber, unprocessed & one of the most satiating foods)

🌾Wholegrains are protective. (Fiber is your gut’s best friend.)

🥬Cauliflower rice isn’t rice it’s a vegetable - if you like it great you are now eating more veg which is a good thing but wholegrain rice is also an option! Or use cauliflower rice to bulk up your portion of real rice 🤪.

🍞Bread isn’t bad. (Carbs are not a character flaw). If you choose not to eat bread or pasta when trying to loose weight because you aren’t bothered by them, find portion sizes impossible to manage, or consider them trigger foods, that’s fine, do what works for you.

🚩But eating pasta or bread in moderation (within your calorie allowance) does not prevent weight loss. Understanding the difference is crucial: you can eat carbs and still lose weight if in a calorie deficit. That is completely different from believing you can’t lose weight unless you are on a carb-free diet. In fact one could be on a carb free diet and not in a deficit and then they won’t lose weight.

DM OR Comment “OCTOBER” if you like the sound of losing weight with a balanced Nutritionist who won’t just tell you to cut out bread and pasta because it is easier than explaining how to get into a calorie deficit while eating all food groups!!!

People mostly know me for weight loss coaching, and helping women improve their relationship with food and reach their personal goals is something I’ll always love. But nutrition, food, and health are important for everybody, which allows me to work in lots of different areas!

This week was a great reminder of why I love branching out across the community. Here is a little look at what I’ve been up to over the last few days:

🌱 Empowering the next generation: Yesterday, I had a brilliant chat with the students of a girls Secondary School about nourishing their bodies and building a healthy mindset early on.

🦠 Gut health: I delivered one of a series of four sessions to Limerick City & County Council this week, focusing on where the science meets practical nutrition.

🍎 Family-first nutrition: Delivered a practical workshop on healthy eating for families in a Family Resource Centre, breaking down how to make good nutrition and stress-free meals a reality for busy households.

Whether it’s 1-to-1 coaching, corporate nutrition, or school and community talks, my goal is always the same: to cut through the noise and make health education practical and accessible.

Does your inner voice sound like “I can’t,” “It’s bad,” or “I am not allowed”?

Instead of viewing healthy eating as a temporary thing, reframe your inner dialogue: This is simply how I should be eating. This isn’t extreme—it’s just normal eating.

Eating a diet high in junk food is what’s abnormal. Eating mostly healthy unprocessed food and a little fun food is normal!

Once you reframe it, it stops feeling like a diet altogether. In fact, once you start eating smartly, you might even end up consuming more physical volume of food than before!

Does the above really look like a diet to you? If not, DM me and let’s chat more.

My next group program starts on 5th Oct and it will be the last 10-week program before Xmas!
