It's Men's Breast Cancer Awareness Week so we're taking the opportunity to remind men to talk about breast cancer and check themselves regularly.
In the UK, around 400-420 men are diagnosed with primary breast cancer every year. It is estimated that there are 61,000 women and men living with secondary (metastatic) breast cancer in the UK right now, but it is unknown how many of those are men.
If you are a man living with secondary breast cancer, we want you to know that you are not alone. We have a number of men in our community living with the disease and online and in-person support programmes across the UK to help you.
Find out more about living with the disease here: https://make2ndscount.co.uk/about-secondary-breast-cancer/men-with-secondary-breast-cancer
Our friends at the Men's Virtual Meet Up get together monthly online to support other men living with cancer and share experiences https://www.themensvmu.org/
