Autumn, changing energy & reflexology
The transition from summer into autumn brings noticeable changes — shorter days, cooler temperatures and less natural light. For some people, this seasonal shift can coincide with changes in energy, mood, sleep patterns and motivation.
It’s also a time when many of us naturally begin to slow down after the activity and longer days of summer.
👣 So where can reflexology fit in?
Reflexology is a complementary therapy involving the application of moderate pressure to specific reflex points on the feet or hands.
As we adjust to the seasonal shift, reflexology can provide valuable time to pause, relax and reset. The deep relaxation experienced during a session may help ease feelings of stress and tension, leaving you feeling calmer, more grounded and restored.
A reflexology session can offer an opportunity to:
• slow down and switch off
• ease physical and mental tension
• support relaxation and emotional wellbeing
• take intentional time for rest
• reconnect with your body
• feel more grounded as the seasons change
Seasonal transitions can be a useful reminder to check in with ourselves and notice what our bodies may need.
This autumn, perhaps that means allowing a little more rest, warmth and restoration into your routine. 🍁
