Meet Paul O’Regan, Clinical Director of Aim to Recover in Drumcondra, Dublin 3.

Paul uses Tung’s Orthodox Acupuncture, a precise system that works by influencing the nervous system, improving circulation, and helping the body recalibrate its movement patterns rather than simply masking symptoms.

By combining acupuncture with Anatomy in Motion, he helps your body reorganise how it moves, reduces protective tension, and supports deeper recovery — especially around the pelvis, hips, and spine.

His approach includes specialist pelvic floor treatment, pregnancy care, and postpartum recovery, where acupuncture can help reduce pain, calm the nervous system, and support tissue healing.

If you’ve been searching “acupuncture near me in Dublin”, this is a movement-first, systems-based approach to healing.

Breech baby position..🤰

Is when the baby’s feet are facing downwards towards the uterus rather than in the head down position.

It’s very common for babies to be in a breech position in the 1st & 2nd trimesters. However 3% of babies in Ireland remain in the feet down position in the 37th week onwards.

Common causes:
🔷 Placenta is in an unusual position
🔷There is a multi pregnancy
🔷there is too much or too little fluid in the womb
🔷 (clinical based observation)
Pre-existing structural Ribcage and pelvis relationship stuck in a position that pulls the placenta. There by making it difficult for baby to turn

It can be quite stressful for the mum to be when this is discovered.

🆘There are options to help resolve this position..

Here you can see some of the points I’m using to help turn the baby. Quite often the baby will turn in session.👏🎉
Typically it can take any where from 1-5 sessions to turn the baby. Moxa (a herb)can be used also over selected points to encourage any to mace also.

For best results treatment is started at 35 -37 weeks pregnant.
If you are in need of this for your baby to turn get in touch using details in the bio.

☯️Being in a relaxed calm state really helps in preparation for labour. And can sometimes be easier said than done especially in the current circumstances with lockdowns etc.

Taking time out for some down time or a break from the norm even for an hour can make all the difference .
In this case an Acupunture session for stress management is great preparation going into the last few weeks of pregnancy in preparation for labour.

Labour preparation with Acupunture helps aid your body naturally get itself ready for deliver.

Treatment for labour usually looks a bit like these pictures above with a different one or two depending on the constitution of the person and case history.
Minimum amount of needles needed and all naturally aiding the body.

One of the most satisfying things about working in clinic is getting feed back like this.

Being able to help people out of pain and discover that their body holds the answers to correct itself.

This was after the first session of Anatomy in Motion I had with her and the result was amazing.

If you are like this patient and have an issue going on a long time get in touch and we can see how your body can unwind it.

I’m delighted to be able to get back to what I enjoy doing again.. which is seeing patients in person again from next week.
Gearing up with what is needed to keep you and I safe during treatment.

I’ll be taking limited numbers in person again but in order to do so HSE guidelines will be followed. These are as follows:

🔹All new patients need to have an online consult before treatment in clinic.
🔹⛔️No use of the waiting room
🔹Cashless payments on booking system where possible
🔹Upon arrival txt me & wait in your car until I txt you to enter to avoid others
🔹All patients must wash hands before and after treatment
🔹All patients will have temperature taken with a contactless thermometer
🔹Patients must bring and wear their own masks
🔹I will be wearing a mask (PPE)
🔹15mins between patients for ventilation and cleaning of room.. so expect a slight delay

✅these measures need to be taken to ensure your safety and mine while in the clinic. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding, see you soon👍

Back when we could practice one to one without “social distancing” being enforced, although it is a really good reason that we Clare all in lockdown.

Circumstance have changed since then but clinic is ongoing but just but just in another form on the web.

It’s just as well we all have technology to fall back on to work, communicate and socialise in the era of “Physical distancing”. As a lot of people are still being social or receiving treatment etc but just at a physical distance.
Stay safe everyone.
