As a part of "Seva Sankalp Abhiyan" for felicitation of ASHAs and ASHA Supervisors for their critical contribution was successfully completed today at Joint Director of Health Services Conference Hall, Haflong Dime Hasao .The programme was graced as Chief Guest by Shri Debolal Garolsa Honorable CEM,DHAC.

The event was organized in presence of of Smti Prabita Jahari honorable EM, DHAC, Health & FW, etc., Shri.Partha Jahari (ACS) Principal Secretary DHAC, Shri Amit Parbosa(ACS) Joint Secretarty Health &FW etc., Dr. Sarsing Rongpi Jt. DHS, Dr. Lina Hakmaosa i/c Superintendent Haflong Civil Hospital, Haflong, Dr. Marina L Changsan i/c Addl. CM&HO, doctors in charge of all the BPHC & UHC, staffs DPMU & BPMU, all rank file of Health Department, staffs & officials of DIPRO & other dignitaries

Under this Abhiyan, ASHAs/ASHA Supervisors were felicitated with a one-time incentive of Rs. 1,000/- per ASHA & ASHA Supervisors and a Certificate of Appreciation signed by Hon'ble Chief Minister, Assam.The ceremonial distribution was done by Chief Guest by Shri Debolal Garolsa Honorable CEM,DHAC, and Smti Prabita Jahari honorable EM, DHAC, Health & FW, etc.

The program was inaugurated attended by Smti Probita Jahari honorable Health & FW, etc., EM, DHAC in presence of Smti. Gayatri Devidas Hyalinge, IAS, District Commissioner, Dima Hasao, Shri. Phunlalngir Chorei( ACS) Asst. CommissionDr. Batha Nampui i/c Mahur BPHC, Smti. Onyx Ibuon, BDO, Jatinga Valley Development Block, host of official s and staff s of health department and the general public.

TB-Free India | JOSH Team Launched in Dima Hasao

The JOSH Team was launched in Dima Hasao as part of the team effort towards marking a TB-Free India.

The initiative aims to strengthen community engagement, awareness, early detection, treatment adherence and support for people affected by Tuberculosis.
The launched program was attended by Shri. Amit Parbosa ( ACS) Joint Secretary Health &FW etc., Dr. Sarsing Rongpi Jt DHS, Dr. C. Changsan DTO, NTEP, Staffs of Health Department and NCC Cadets.
During the launch of JOSH Team TB, TB Free Constituency were also felicitated.

Special Health & Wellness Camp under the umbrella of Seva Sankalp Abhiyan at Umrangso CHC, date 3/10/2026, of New Sangbar Block ( Umrangso).
The specialist doctors - Medicine, O&G, Paediatrics, ENT, Orthopedic, Eye, Psychiatric provided health care services along with free Laboratory test, Medicine and ECG. MMU Haflong Sub division 124 was engaged in providing laboratory test, etc.
People from all works of life came to avail the came to take the benefits of the program. The number of beneficiaries was 516.
The special health camp is organised to provide quality, affordable and accessible health care services for the people of remote areas of the district.
