The Capacity Building Training Program for Medical Officers Ayush Baramulla was conducted today on 03-10-2026 under the directions of DAO Baramulla Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Payar.

Besides training a review of the monthly work done was also taken by DAO Baramulla.

HEALTHCARE AWARENESS AND MEDICAL CAMP.
As per the directions and guidance of District Ayush Officer Baramulla Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Payer.
Today on 30/09/2026 a mega Ayush healthcare awareness and medical camp was organised at Govt. Boys Gujjar Hostel Rangwar Baramulla. This camp was organised in collaboration with ELITE WELFARE AND RESEARCH ORGANISATION BARAMULLA.The head of this NGO Mr. Bashir Ahmad provided all logistics for smooth conduct of this health camp.
Lab tests were also done by the lab technician for CBC ,Blood Sugar,etc.for screening NCDs. Hundreds of participants were benefited by this program.

Warm Welcome and Farewell Ceremony Organized by Ayush Fraternity Baramulla

Baramulla, September 21, 2026

A warm welcome and farewell ceremony was organized today by the Ayush Fraternity Baramulla at District Ayush Office, Baramulla.

A warm and heartfelt welcome was accorded to Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Payar on assuming the charge as the new District Ayush Officer (DAO), Baramulla.

On the same occasion, a warm farewell was given to
Dr. Raja Amjad Ali, Ex-DAO Baramulla, on his transfer from the district. The Ayush fraternity expressed deep gratitude for his dedicated services, able leadership and significant contributions in strengthening Ayush healthcare services in the district.

The officers and staff lauded the sincere efforts of Dr. Raja Amjad Ali during his tenure and wished him success for his future assignment.

The Ayush Fraternity Baramulla assured full support and cooperation with the new DAO Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Payar for taking the Ayush system to new heights in District Baramulla.

The ceremony was attended by DAO Ganderbal Dr Bahar Ahmad Bhat, Dr M Jamal Sr. Medical Officer Ayush Srinagar, Dr M Ayub Marazi Sr Medical Officer Ayush Kupwara, and all the Medical Officers of AYUSH Baramulla and Official staff of District Ayush Office Baramulla.

Demarcation of Land for Construction of Government Ayurvedic Medical College at Sopore Baramulla

Sopore, Baramulla, September 10, 2026

In a significant step towards strengthening the AYUSH infrastructure in Jammu & Kashmir, the demarcation of land identified for the construction of the prestigious Government Ayurvedic Medical College was successfully carried out today at Sopore, District Baramulla.

The joint demarcation drive was conducted in presence of senior officers from Directorate of Ayush, District Administration, Revenue and R&B Departments.

The following officers were present on the occasion:

2. Dr. Raja Amjad Ali, District Ayush Officer (DAO), Baramulla
3. Executive Engineer (ExEn), R&B Division Sopore
4. Dr. Akhtar Hussain Naik, Nodal Officer for Ayush Constructions and Development Works
5. Dr. Bilal Ahmad Wani, M.D. Ayurveda
6. Mr. Sandeep Kumar, Statistical Officer, Directorate of Ayush, J&K
7. Officials from Revenue Department, Baramulla and R&B Department

The team inspected the site on ground, verified the revenue records and completed the formal demarcation proceedings for handing over the land for early start of construction work.

Speaking on the occasion, officers stated that the establishment of the Government Ayurvedic College at Sopore will be a landmark project for North Kashmir. It will not only provide quality Ayurvedic medical education to the youth of J&K but will also provide tertiary Ayurvedic healthcare services to the people of Baramulla and adjoining districts.

The Directorate of Ayush, J&K is committed for early ex*****on of the project in coordination with the District Administration Baramulla and executing agencies.

Visit of DAO And Nodal Officer Ayush Trainings Baramulla to 10 Bedded Ayush Hospital Bandi Payeen

District Ayush Officer Baramulla Dr Raja Amjad Ali and Nodal Officer Ayush Trainings and Developmental Works Baramulla Dr Akhtar Hussain Naik visited 10 Bedded Ayush Hospital Bandi Payeen and took stock of the ongoing construction work.

During the visit the progress of work was reviewed with AEE, R&B Baramulla. The Officers emphasized timely completion of the work to ensure Hospital becomes functional at the earliest.
