दांतों का natural color सिर्फ enamel की वजह से तय नहीं होता। Enamel translucent होता है और उसके नीचे मौजूद dentin naturally yellowish होता है, इसलिए healthy teeth पूरी तरह paper-white दिखाई दें, यह जरूरी नहीं है। उम्र बढ़ने के साथ enamel पतला और ज्यादा translucent हो सकता है, जिससे dentin का yellowish color ज्यादा दिखाई दे सकता है।

दूसरी तरफ tea, coffee, to***co और कुछ highly pigmented foods/drinks enamel की surface पर extrinsic stains जमा कर सकते हैं। ये natural tooth color से अलग होते हैं।

एक दांत लगवाने में कितने पैसे लगते हैं?
अगर आप dental crown, bridge या dental implant करवाने की सोच रहे हैं, तो सबसे पहले यह समझना जरूरी है कि हर missing या damaged tooth का treatment एक जैसा नहीं होता।
अगर natural tooth मौजूद है और उसे बचाया जा सकता है, तो crown की जरूरत हो सकती है। PFM, zirconia और अन्य crown materials की कीमत अलग-अलग हो सकती है।

अगर tooth missing है, तो fixed bridge, removable prosthesis या dental implant जैसे अलग options हो सकते हैं। Implant की total cost implant system, crown और additional procedures पर निर्भर कर सकती है।

क्या Scaling से दांत कमजोर हो जाते हैं? क्या Scaling के बाद दांत हिलने लगते हैं?
कई लोगों को dental scaling के बाद sensitivity या दांतों में अलग तरह की feeling होती है, इसलिए उन्हें लगता है कि scaling ने दांत कमजोर कर दिए।
