Always feeling cold — even when the weather isn't actually cold? 🥶
Feeling cold occasionally is normal. But if you regularly feel unusually cold while others are comfortable, it may be worth paying attention to — especially if you have other symptoms.
Some possible underlying causes include:
🔹 Thyroid Imbalance — An underactive thyroid can cause cold intolerance, fatigue, weight gain, dry skin and hair thinning.
🔹 Vitamin B12 Deficiency — B12 deficiency can cause fatigue, weakness and neurological symptoms. In some cases, associated anemia may also contribute to feeling cold.
🔹 Iron Deficiency — Iron deficiency, especially when it leads to anemia, can be associated with fatigue and feeling unusually cold.
🔹 Other Underlying Conditions — Cold intolerance can also occur with certain circulation problems and other health conditions.
If you're also experiencing persistent fatigue, unexplained weight gain, hair fall or dry skin, don't simply blame the weather. These symptoms can have many causes and may need proper medical evaluation.
🧪 The right blood tests can help identify possible underlying problems.
