Cancer and tumours are not the same thing.
A tumour is an abnormal mass of cells that may be benign or malignant. Cancer involves abnormal cells that can grow uncontrollably and, in some cases, spread to other parts of the body.
Not every tumour is cancerous, and not every cancer forms a solid tumour.
