🌟 PREVENT. PREDICT. PROTECT.
🌸 FROM MENOPAUSE AWARENESS TO MATERNAL MORTALITY PREVENTION 🌸
Initially, we talked extensively about menopause. Now, let’s turn our attention to another equally important mission — protecting mothers and their babies during pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period. ❤️
💡 Learning from the past. Improving care in the present. Protecting the future.
Maternal deaths should never be accepted as an inevitable part of motherhood. Many can be prevented through awareness, early identification of risk factors, timely intervention and quality obstetric care.
🩺 Let’s focus on:
✨ AWARENESS — Educating every woman and family about warning signs during pregnancy, childbirth and after delivery.
🔍 PREDICTION — Identifying high-risk pregnancies and anticipating complications before they become emergencies.
⏱️ PREVENTION & TIMELY INTERVENTION — Recognising danger signs, ensuring timely referral and providing evidence-based treatment.
🚨 PREVENT UNSAFE ABORTIONS — Ensure access to accurate contraceptive information, timely family planning services and safe abortion care by qualified providers within the legal framework. Unsafe abortions can lead to severe bleeding, infection, organ injury and even maternal death.
❤️ REPLACE STIGMA WITH SUPPORT — No woman should risk her life because of fear, misinformation or delayed care. Confidential, non-judgmental counselling and prompt medical attention for complications can save lives.
🌷 PROTECTION — Safeguarding both mother and baby through quality antenatal care, safe childbirth and vigilant postnatal follow-up.
Our responsibility does not end with the birth of a baby. The postnatal period is equally critical, and every mother deserves continued care, attention and support.
💔 No woman should lose her life while trying to end a pregnancy. Awareness, access to safe care and timely intervention can turn preventable tragedies into saved lives.
Because every mother matters. Every baby matters. Every life matters. ❤️
Let’s create awareness, anticipate risks and act in time—because saving a mother means protecting an entire family an
