KusalaFlow Embrace the change in your life by transforming your energy flow

19/10/2026

I only found this today. 🤍

Brainz Magazine chose my words as their Quote of the Week back in September, and I had no idea.

You know what… I still believe this every day in my work. When we carry pain for years, it’s easy to stop trusting our own body. Somewhere along the way, we stop believing things could feel different.

Faith, for me, is staying open to that possibility. The possibility that the body has been trying to find its way back the whole time. That it already knows how. That with safety, gentleness, and a little room, it can remember.

That openness is where healing begins.

If something in you is ready to trust that possibility again, my free Retune Pathway Roadmap is here:

This is what happens when the nervous system trust again.

When I make contact at the access points, the body doesn’t need instructions - it remembers.

That’s energy moving, restriction releasing, your build-in reset button coming back online.

This is Spinal Flow Technique. Gentle. Participatory. Real.

Save this if you’re ready to release the tension you’ve been holding.

Drop a ❤️in the comments if you felt that.

My September article for Brainz Magazine asks a question most healers don't talk about openly.

What happens when the desire to help someone heal becomes a need for them to heal? When helping quietly becomes proving?

It started with one sentence: "I don't do the healing." — Dr. Issam Nemeh

And it led me to explore what it really means to support healing — not force it. The shift from trying to fix, to creating the conditions for the body's own intelligence to respond.

This is at the heart of everything I do at KusalaFlow. 🌿

After a beautiful summer break, today I'm back — and diving straight into something meaningful.

Joining Transform Trauma Oxford 2026 virtually for four days. The world's largest trauma conference, with Gabor Maté, Bessel van der Kolk, Dan Siegel and over 100 sessions on trauma, the nervous system, and integrative healing.

This year's theme: Science, Spirit and the Body: The Synthesis of Healing.

This field informs everything I do at KusalaFlow. I'll be sharing insights as the days unfold. 🌿

Five years ago, Michaël Bijker • yogalap Founder started me on this path.

I took his breathwork instructor course and I didn't know then how much it would change everything — how I work, how I live, how I show up for the people I serve.

Last week, in Portugal, I finally met teacher Michaël in person for the first time.

Five years of practice. Five years of sharing what I learned with others. And then, just — the same room. The same air.

He gave me these mala beads. I'm still not sure I've fully landed from that moment.

I've been away from this space all summer — holidays with the kids, short trips, long trips, and this last one in Portugal.

I'm coming back soon. Fuller. Quieter. More certain than ever about this work.

Thank you for still being here. 🤍

Physical pain should always be taken seriously. But what happens when medical tests show nothing and the pain still returns? Sometimes, the missing question is not only, “What is happening in my body?”...

She described it as something moving through her spine. Gently. Without force. Like being stretched - but on one is there.

“It creates space and kind of melts away the tension…so much relief.”

This is what Spinal Flow feels like. Not something done to you - something your own body already knows how to do.

You know what almost everyone notices after their first session?

How tired they feel. How deeply exhausted.

And it surprises them.

Here's why it happens.
When the nervous system has been running hot for a long time, the body runs on stress hormones — adrenaline, cortisol.

They keep us moving, alert, productive. It can feel like energy.
But it's borrowed energy. The body is essentially running on a back-up generator.

When the system starts to settle and feel safer, the body finally gets permission to rest.

And sometimes what surfaces is the tiredness that was already there underneath — the fatigue the stress was masking.

It's not a step backwards. It's the body saying, okay, I can finally feel how tired I actually am.

That tiredness is the beginning of repair. Not the end of progress.

So if you're someone who has been pushing through for years and your body suddenly feels heavy when you slow down — please don't read that as failure.

Read it as your body, finally trusting it's safe to rest.

If this resonates and you want to understand more about how the nervous system holds and releases stress, comment RETUNE below and I'll send you the Retune Pathway map.
