November. Five weeks to take us into December.

And I’m suggesting you join a health programme.

The irony isn’t lost on me 😂

But here’s the difference.

I’m not going to give you another enormous list of things you should be doing.

We’re going to look at what you’re already doing.

The food you’re eating. The habits you’ve picked up. The things you think you should be doing. And all those little health rules that have somehow become part of everyday life.

Some are worth keeping. Some need a bit of attention.

And some can probably go in the bin.

We’ll focus on the things that genuinely make a difference to how you feel physically, without making your already busy life even busier.

Because I’d love you to get to December feeling better, more in control and with a lot less health-related noise rattling around your head.

That’s STRIPPED BACK.

Five weeks of practical coaching with me, weekly live sessions, recordings and a small WhatsApp group where we can actually work through this stuff together.

No extremes. No tiny, sad meals. And definitely no 27-step morning routines.

Starts Monday 2 November | £197

Enrolment closes Thursday 29 October at midnight.

I’d love you to join us 💕

Fourth trip away with Jenn. You’d think I’d have learnt by now 😂

After a week as Jenn’s chief assistant and sidekick on her Sicily retreat 🇮🇹 we switched island for three days of what, I foolishly thought would be downtime…

I naively imagined swimming, leisurely lunches and FINALLY reading my book.

Forgot I was travelling with a Type A, eldest-child, detail-obsessed retreat organiser who has absolutely NO off switch 🤣 and energy to burn.

50km of e-biking, SUPing, swimming and exploring every last corner of the island later…

Thank goodness I can keep up with her.

Love her to bits, but next time I’m leaving the book at home 🩷 📖

Especially when it was taking up precious space in my carry-on capsule case! 🧳

I’ve spent over 35 years working in health, fitness and nutrition and if there’s one thing I’ve learnt, it’s that knowing more doesn’t necessarily mean doing better.

In fact, sometimes all that knowledge just gives us more things to worry about.

We know we should eat well, move our bodies, get enough sleep and look after our gut.

But then along comes another study, another supplement, another expert telling us we’re doing it all wrong.

And suddenly we’re questioning the things we were perfectly happy doing last week 🙄

Here’s what I see time and time again.

Women don’t necessarily need more information. They need help sorting through what they’ve already got, working out what matters for them and making it stick.

That’s where I come in.

With Stripped Back, I’m bringing together my years of experience in nutrition, gut health, hormones and coaching to help you make sense of it all.

We’ll get practical. We’ll look at your food, your habits and the things that might be holding you back.

And we’ll work out what deserves your attention and what you can happily stop worrying about.

Five weeks. A small group. Proper support. And absolutely no turning your health into another bloody job.

💚 STRIPPED BACK | STARTS 2 NOVEMBER

5 weeks · £197
Bookings close 28 October

Gut health isn’t something you fix with a few days of eating all the right things.

It’s what you do day in, day out that makes the difference.

Little injections of prebiotic fibre. A bit more variety on your plate. Some fermented foods that you actually enjoy eating.

And let’s face it, you’re unlikely to love everything fermented. You don’t have to develop a passion for sauerkraut or force down kimchi because someone on Instagram told you it’s good for your gut.

Find the things you like. The foods that fit easily into meals you’re already eating. The little additions you barely have to think about.

Because the minute healthy eating starts feeling like another job, it becomes much harder to keep up.

And if there’s one thing I’ve learnt after years of working in gut health, it’s that what you can do consistently beats what you can do perfectly.

Small things. Done regularly. That’s where I’d put my energy 🩷💕🩷

I get blood tests done every year. I walk a lot, strength train, care about fibre, sleep, stress, gut health - all the usual things.

But lately I’ve been thinking there’s just… too much.

Too many bits to optimise, measure, tweak and get ‘right’

I’ve gone down rabbit holes looking for the perfect pan or the perfect coffee bean. And nearly every time I listen to a health podcast, I come away thinking there’s something else I should be adding to my already fairly extensive list of health ‘should dos.’.

Meanwhile, the basics can quietly get forgotten.

I’m not anti-optimisation.

I’m just increasingly wary of OVER-optimisation.

Because when looking after your health starts to feel like another full-time job, that in itself can become a source of stress 🤷🏻‍♀️

Less noise. Fewer things. Better chosen.

I’m on a bit of a mission to simplify health at the moment.

I think a lot of us are getting a bit weary of optimisation - constantly trying to do ALL the things, track ALL the things and improve ALL the things.

And I realised there have been moments this year when I was doing exactly that myself.

Trying to fit all the bits in.
Technically doing them.
But not necessarily doing any of them that brilliantly.

Canada made me notice that even more. I came back thinking a lot about pace, pressure and how much better I felt when there was simply LESS going on.

I’ve run a few programmes in November over the years and I’m always slightly tentative about it because it feels like an odd time to start something.

And yet people have loved them.

They’ve gone into December feeling better, more in control and much less likely to hit that point of thinking, ‘sod it, I’ll sort myself out in January.’

And because of that, January doesn’t need to become some huge overhaul either.

That’s really where Stripped Back has come from.

Five weeks to focus on the things that genuinely make a difference - and let the rest get quieter.

2 November – 4 December
£197 | 15 spaces

Live sessions: Mondays at 7pm (replays available for anyone who can’t make the live)

I came home from the farm shops with a ridiculous amount of beautiful veg and this was basically the result.

This is why I love a traybake.

Very little effort. Loads of veg. Proper dinner. And, crucially, enough left over to make tomorrow’s lunch considerably easier.

I’m a huge fan of cooking once and eating at least twice!

Sea bass, squash, tomatoes, purple cauliflower, kale, feta and rice.

And yes, I chop my kale with scissors 😂 It’s much more fun!

So… I thought I was pretty good at looking after myself.

I eat well. I train. I walk the walk. I prioritise sleep. I know all the things.

Then I went away for three weeks, did far less of most of them - and somehow my digestion was brilliant and I slept better than I have in years. My body felt in its perfect flow 💕

The thing I hadn’t really accounted for was pace. And peace. Which I felt so completely 🙏🏼

At home, even when I don’t feel stressed, I’m often rushing. One thing finished while I’m already thinking about the next.

In Canada, there was space between things.

And my body seemed to bloody love it.

It’s made me think about how easily looking after ourselves becomes another list of things to do.

Maybe sometimes we don’t need to add another thing.

Maybe we need to work out what we can take away ➖

And I have a feeling I’m not quite finished with that thought yet.

In case you were wondering what I actually do… (other than film myself making food! 😂)

I wear a few hats, but they all come back to pretty much the same thing.

I work with women in midlife who want to feel strong, eat well, look after their health - and yes, actually like what they see when they look in the mirror.

I’m a nutrition coach, female strength coach and co-founder of the Bon Build female strength app. I’m slightly obsessed with the gut and what goes on in there 💩 👄 and I could happily talk digestion, hormones and food all day.

But after doing this for a very long time, I’m probably more convinced than ever that we don’t need MORE health advice.

We don’t need to starve ourselves.
We don’t need to be perfect.
And looking after our health shouldn’t become another full-time job.

We need to know what actually matters, do more of that, and get on with our lives.

So yep. That’s me 🙋🏻‍♀️

And if you’re new here - hello 🩷💕

I absolutely love what’s happening to midlife.

More and more women are getting stronger, eating properly, looking after themselves and packing their lives with plans for what comes next.

Not trying to turn back the clock.
Not trying to be 30 again.

Just planning on being very much up for it for as long as possible.

And I’m so very proud of us 💙
