Hello, Fude friends! 🖌️
I’ve made some improvements to this paddle-shaped Weasel stippling brush based on the previous version.
In the previous version, the bristles were a little too short. This made the base of the brush feel slightly stiff and limited the flexibility and movement of the brush head.
So this time, I adjusted the design to give the bristles more freedom to move and flex against the skin, while still maintaining the resilience and control that make Weasel hair so special.
The redesigned paddle-shaped brush still features the same stippling-style bristle arrangement.
What I wanted to improve was not simply softness, but the way the brush moves with the contours of the face. With the added flexibility, the bristles can spread and flex more naturally as you stipple, press, and blend.
In this Reel, I tried it with cream bronzer, liquid bronzer, and foundation.
For cream and liquid bronzer, I especially like using a light stippling motion. The brush picks up and distributes the product gradually, allowing the color to build little by little while softly diffusing the edges. This makes it easier to avoid depositing too much pigment in one area.
For foundation, instead of simply sweeping the product across the skin, you can gently tap, stipple, and press it in. The flexible Weasel bristles help spread the foundation into a thin, even layer while maintaining a natural, skin-like finish.
The longer bristles also allow the brush head to move more freely, so even though it still has the resilience of Weasel hair, it no longer feels overly rigid at the base.
This was the main idea behind this revision:
keep the control and resilience of Weasel hair, but give the brush more flexibility and freedom of movement.
I hope you enjoy seeing how the new version performs with different textures in this Reel. 🥰
