As preparations gather pace for the Deaf National Team trials, FKF has extended its support to the Deaf Football Federation of Kenya (DFFK) ahead of the selection exercise scheduled for 21st and 22nd August at the University of Nairobi grounds.

The support, which includes five footballs, was handed over by FKF Head of National Teams Athanas Obango, alongside FKF Inclusion Officer Jeremiah Nyaga, DFFK Vice President Moses Ntere and Interpreter Duncan Mwaura.

A shared commitment to creating an inclusive pathway for talent to be identified, nurtured and given the opportunity to represent Kenya.

Sensory therapy for kids is a form of occupational therapy designed to help children process, regulate, and respond to the information they receive from their senses. It uses structured, play-based activities to improve focus, emotional regulation, and daily functioning.

Children and different able persons are spending less time playing outdoors. From after-school schedules to working parents, to unsafe conditions, to increased digital screen time, to less outdoor time….less natural play.

Thanks to my friends at Small axe riparian park and Githurai peoples park, a new beginning that will include everyone is being realized. With your phone you can now scan Qr codes of trees as well as other information including the persons with disabilities act of 2025.
