My fellow people of Menengai West,
As your brother and leader, Hon. David Ondieki (BAMO), I am calling upon each and every one of you to stand up and be counted. Our civic duty is not just a right; it is a sacred responsibility that determines the quality of our lives and the future of our children.
We must ask ourselves: why is it vital to elect the right people to power? It is because true leadership is about servanthood, not self-interest. When we choose leaders of integrity, we ensure that the person occupying the office is ready to work for you from Day One.
We need leaders who enter office with clean hands and a clear conscience—leaders who are focused on delivering services to the electorate, not those who spend their first years in office figuring out how to siphon public funds to reimburse their campaign donors. If a leader buys their way into power, they will surely sell your future to pay their debts.
We deserve better. We deserve representatives who prioritize our hospitals, our roads, and our youth’s employment over their own pockets.
Tujitume watu wa Menengai! Let us mobilize, let us talk to our neighbors, and let us demand accountability. Let us stand together to ensure that our Ward and Nakuru County as a whole are guided by those who see leadership as a duty to the people, not an opportunity for plunder.
A better Ward begins with the right choice. Let’s make it together.
Hon. David Ondieki aka BAMO,
Asp. MCA Menengai West Ward, DCP
