👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 INTERNATIONAL CHEFS DAY 2026 | Celebrating Chefs Who Inspire Beyond the Kitchen

Today, we celebrate the passion, creativity, discipline and dedication of chefs around the world — professionals who do far more than prepare food. They create experiences, preserve culinary heritage, inspire future generations and bring people together through the universal language of food. 🌍❤️

This year, the Mauritian Chefs Association is especially proud to celebrate International Chefs Day through the spirit of LittleHeroes, the inspiring initiative of the Worldchefs - World Association of Chefs Societies, which reminds us that chefs have the power to make a difference from an early age.

As part of this initiative, the Mauritian Chefs Association had the pleasure of welcoming the little ones from Super Nanny Pre-Primary School for a special culinary workshop. 👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳✨

From discovering the joy of working with food to getting hands-on with cupcakes, verrines and meringues, our young Little Heroes had the opportunity to learn, create, explore and — most importantly — have fun in the world of pastry. 🧁🍓☁️

Behind every chef is a story of learning, mentorship and countless hours of dedication. By sharing our knowledge with children today, we can help inspire the chefs, pastry chefs and hospitality professionals of tomorrow.
