If your birds are constantly scratching, picking at their feathers, looking restless or uncomfortable, take a closer look.

You may be dealing with mites, lice or other parasites.

Sometimes, the birds are eating, but they are not performing as much as they should.

We have different ivermectin-based antiparasitic products available for poultry, for both internal and external parasites.

Kindly send your order to the appropriate number based on your location.

Dear poultry farmers,

Watch Your Chicks, Not Just the Weather!

Don’t say, “It’s rainy season, so I need more heat,” or “It’s dry season, so I don’t need heat.”

Instead, watch your chicks and check the temperature.

If the chicks are gathering together under or close to the heat source, they may be cold.

If they are far from the heat source, panting, or trying to avoid the heat, they may be too hot.

If they are active, eating, drinking, and moving around comfortably, the temperature is likely okay.

The goal is not just to make the brooding room hot.

The goal is to keep the chicks comfortable.

Save this post for your next batch and follow Chickenhub.ng for more practical poultry tips.
