Yesterday was more than just another CHUPI meeting. It was a day of learning, interaction, reflection and practical experience.
As part of the Community Health Unity and Progressive Initiative Leadership & Capacity Building Season, we had an engaging session facilitated by Arico Foundation on "Leadership, Teamwork and Personal Effectiveness.”
From the beginning of the session to the end, our members were not just sitting and listening. We interacted, answered questions, shared our thoughts, worked together and took part in practical activities that helped us understand the lessons beyond theory.
One thing we particularly enjoyed was the practical teamwork experience. We had the opportunity to work with one another, communicate, listen to different ideas, coordinate our efforts and understand how individual contributions can affect the success or failure of a team.
It was interesting to see how different people approached the same task differently. And that itself taught us something important: working together does not mean that everyone must think the same way. It means learning how to bring our different strengths together toward one goal.
We also reflected on ourselves, our strengths, our weaknesses, our attitude, our level of commitment and the kind of leaders we want to become.
For us at CHUPI, this is very important because we don't want to build an organization that depends on one person. We want to build people who can take responsibility, work together, communicate effectively and contribute meaningfully wherever they find themselves.
A big thank you to everyone who made it yesterday. Your presence, participation and willingness to learn made the session worthwhile.
To our members who couldn't make it, you were missed. We understand that there may be genuine reasons for your absence, but we also want to encourage you to make every effort to participate in the coming sessions.
These sessions are not just for the executives, they are for every CHUPI member.
There is still a lot ahead of us, and we want everyone to be part of the journey.
Our sincere appreciation goes to ARICO Foundation for taking the time to facilitate the session and for investing their knowledge and experience in the development of our members.
Yesterday reminded us that growth doesn't happen simply because we belong to an organization. Growth happens when we are willing to learn, participate, ask questions, make mistakes, reflect and improve.
And that is exactly what we are trying to build at CHUPI.
We are learning.
We are growing.
We are becoming better.
And we are building together
