Misinformation can create fear, but the right information can save lives. let’s challenge the myths, share the facts, and encourage more people to take their breast health seriously.

Knowledge is power, and awareness is a step towards early detection. Don’t just read it, learn it, share it, and help someone else know the truth.

This Pink October, let’s turn awareness into action and silence into conversations that save lives. Behind every statistic is a life, a story, and a reason to care. 💗

Be informed. Be intentional. Be the reason someone takes that first step. Together, we can break the stigma and spread hope, one conversation at a time.

We were pleased to host a group of final-year medical students from Bayero University, Kano who just completed their elective posting here at KCTC.

Their time at the Centre provided an opportunity to gain practical exposure to oncology care, observe multidisciplinary practice, and deepen their understanding of cancer treatment and patient care.

We are proud to contribute to the training and development of the next generation of healthcare professionals.

We wish them continued success as they take the next step in their medical careers.

Know Your Lemons. Know the Signs. Know Your Body.

We e’re encouraging everyone to "Know Your Lemons" a simple and memorable way to recognise changes in the breast that may need medical attention.

Breast cancer does not always present as a lump. Changes in size or shape, skin texture, ni**le appearance, unusual discharge, or persistent pain can also be warning signs.

Know what’s normal for you. Check regularly. Speak up about changes. And don’t delay seeking medical advice.

Early detection can make a difference.
