As we all know the exchange stands on three pillars. And among them Community Service is one, where we intend to have some impact on community around us. As the theme of our exchange was Autism, we conducted two programs relating to it and under Community Service. The 1st program was "Hiking With Children Having Autism", which we conducted in collaboration with Autism Care Nepal Society. Six delegates from exchange participated in the hike from Bajrabarahi temple to Santaneshwar temple and others were children, their family and volunteers from ACNS. The hike was very fun, informative and totally new experience for us. We interacted with Autistic Children, got introduced and also played some games with them. We all together had lunch and also conducted sanitation program around the temple.

The 2nd program was "Workshop On Autism" which was held in the premises of ACNS itself (Harisiddhi). The theme of the workshop was feel the autism, feel the difference and we were made to feel how AUTISM feels. We learnt a lot about the spectrum of Autism, and how to interact with one having it. There were about 60-70 participants in the program. Students from IOM, concerned people and local people took part in the workshop.

So to cut the matter short, this exchange was full of fun, entertainment and information. We got to make many new friends from Malaysia ( especially pretty Malaysian girls ЁЯШЬ). Haha jokes apart, we truly look forward to our next exchange with Philippines.

Terima Kasih ! рдзрдиреНрдпрд╡рд╛рдж!

Do appy to become delegate if you are interested to take part in exchange with Philippines .

We always considered Academics as an integral pillar in international exchange between two Medical Colleges. The main challenge would be to represent your campus and hospital premises perfectly. We designed a virtual trip to our medical school. We also gave insights upon other medical schools in Nepal, their distribution and curriculum. Medical education system in Nepal was given a focus whereas we had a theme 'Autism' for that day. A presentation on 'Why the theme Autism' by our vice secretary was followed by more details on autism by Pediatrician Dr. Merina Shrestha.

We also had a wonderful academic session by Malaysia where Malaysia present about the Healthcare system of Malaysia, Baby hatching information and Sexual health.
It was indeed a grateful session by Dr. Meryl and Ehab Helmy sir.

Yeah, the day was informative, interactive as well as fun with ice breaking games and all. A nice photograph at the end, Cheers!

The Vice Secretary is supposed to understand the essence of Exchange plus has to be well aware of Academics related to Medical education. A good presentation and observation skills can add up to the overall exchange. Don't forget a good internet connection in access haha!!

AMSEP Nepal├ЧMalaysia has really been an amazing opportunity to explore both Malaysia and Nepal together. Talking specifically about sociocultural aspect, i was awed to see the richness of Malaysian culture, dances and food.
It was AMSA-Nepal's first exchange and I proudly say the sociocultural team left no stones unturned in representing the unparallel cultural beauty of Nepal. The days invested in preparing were delightful and even more enjoyable were the exchange days. I am thankful to AMSA-Nepal for providing such an opportunity.
Our malaysian friends too, made sure to make the exchange worth everything and I hope to meet them in person soon.
Terima kasih everyoneЁЯШК

Trailblazer does believe in hoarding and cherishing every glittering ounce of good news as positivity is what the world desperately needs these days. Nepal is Global LGBTQIA+ right beacon. It was the world's first country to include a third gender on its federal census and the constitution enshrines equal rights regardless of gender, sexual identity or orientation. So, there is silver lining in LGBTQIA+ status as well. Share the reformations that have had occurred or are happening around us related to LGBTQIA+ status in our 'Good News' section. There is still long way to go though!! Do share your good news on https://forms.gle/GDFi1ZBbHcQLAejPA

We also know our contributors are very creative as well as aware of their role in spreading positive message in society through arts, posters, articles, infographics, monologues and many more. We have 'Creative Corner' in Trailblazer to display our creativities to the world and send message of love, harmony and inclusion through our creation!! Medical students are likely to get pulled into tiring study routines. But within the monotonous study-sleep-repeat pattern, it's always refreshing to get involved in activities we love to do and enjoy a lot, our Hobbies! Be it dancing, singing and playing an instrument to reading, writing and reviewing and so much more depending on our interests. 'Hobbies' section in Trailblazer is all about sharing our hobbies, how we manage time for it, how a hobby can freshen up our mood and why it is always important to give time for these sort of recreational activities!
