Every pharmacist owner knows that cost management is critical, because claimed medicines carry a very low margin.

This is a common thing throughout the industry, but it isn't well known if you're not in a pharmacy owner's shoes.

One of the biggest cost problems is that when you dispense 90% of a bottle, you can't use the remaining 10%.

For some medicines, you're allowed to claim for wastage. Script Sense now has an auto-claiming tool for medicines that are approved for wastage claims.

We provide a suggested calculation based on the medicine information, and then, with the approval of a pharmacist and a button click, it will apply that. This means that your pharmacy never has to miss out on claiming applicable wastage, in the busy flow of dispensing.

In other systems, you may be reminded of the potential claim wastage, but once you click Escape on that pop-up, you're never going to see it again.

In Script Sense, we proactively suggest the claimable wastage on applicable items. If you dismiss it, it keeps coming back when it's relevant, so you don't miss out on future claims.

Effortlessly remind your patients when their next prescription is due, and be notified live in the app when they've responded.

We've improved how we do automated repeat reminders for texting your patients.

Now, as well as being able to do date-based reminders, you can do reminders based on a proportion of the amount of supply that's been used up.

For instance, if 80% of the previous supply has been used, our system will trigger a message to that patient to let them know that they're due for a new pickup. Think of it like a low-stock warning.

This feature applies to select medications in a wholesale order, where you must supply the patient details and prescriber details so the government can report who is prescribing and receiving these medications.

Script Sense auto-fills these details from the dispensing history for that medication, saving you a lot of back-and-forth hunting for information.
