Our Kind of Community ❤️

I was scrolling through Facebook and came across some pretty nasty comments on other pages. It made me realise how lucky I am with the community we have here on Me and My Gym Gear. 🥰

You guys are positive, supportive and focused on working on yourselves — whether that’s at the gym, changing your lifestyle, building confidence or simply becoming a better version of YOU. 💪 I guess that's how you found me 🥰 as Im healing, im meeting healed people 🙏 Ive also noticed people who exercise are generally happier people 🩷

And that’s what matters. Who you are, your mindset and how you treat others.

Thank you for making this such a positive space. ❤️

Keep being you. Keep growing. Keep lifting each other up. 🙌

If you’re just starting your weight-loss journey, let me tell you a little secret… 🤫❤️

Weight loss isn’t just about what’s on your plate or the exercise you’re doing.

It’s also about what you consume mentally.

Don’t let other people’s opinions, negativity or judgement consume you.

For me, when I finally let go of worrying about other people’s opinions, validation and negativity, I started losing the weight.

I stopped carrying what wasn’t mine to carry.

I kept moving forward.I did me.I stopped needing validation.I started believing in myself. 💪

Because sometimes the biggest weight you need to lose isn’t the weight on your body — it’s the weight of other people’s opinions. 🔥

It’s freezing outside in NZ! 🥶
Showing up for yourself sometimes means skipping the gym when it’s not productive.
To me, rest and wellbeing are more important! ❤️
Listen to yourself without guilt, give your body the rest it needs, and come back stronger tomorrow. 💪✨
