Allow yourself one hour.

One hour of stillness.
Nature. Warmth.
Time to simply be.

I promise you’ll be glad you did.

Ever wondered what’s actually happening inside your body while you sauna?

There’s a lot more going on than simply getting hot and having a good sweat.

As your body responds to the heat, your heart rate rises, circulation increases and your natural cooling systems get to work — all while you get to simply sit, slow down and switch off.

Swipe through for a little look at the science behind the sweat →

Then come experience it for yourself at Āio.

We’re open Thursday–Sunday, with private sessions available throughout the day.

Your midday reset is waiting.

Manawatia a Matariki ✨

As the stars of Matariki rise, we’re invited to pause.

A time to reflect on the year that’s been, be grateful for where we are, and look ahead to the future.

May this season remind you to slow down, reconnect, and make space for what matters most.

From us at Āio 🤎

Winter has a way of inviting us to slow down.

The days are shorter. The nights are longer. Life feels a little quieter.

There’s something special about sitting in the warmth, watching the fog drift across the lake, then stepping out into the crisp winter air.

A gentle reminder that rest isn’t something to earn—it’s something we all need.

This is winter at Āio. 🤍
