I love my e-bike 😅 it keeps me out there, active and having a ball! I dont judge the grunters 😅 on traditional bikes, so don't judge us e-bikers out having fun on ours! 🚴‍♀️ 🚴‍♀️ 🚴‍♂️

I recently suffered a twisted bowel and required an emergency laparotomy to make a temporary repair to my parastomal hernia. I received my ileostomy 3 years ago and haven't had any major problems. I did develop a parastomal hernia (not uncommon for those with an ostomy) which I have managed with support wear and great hernia belts. In fact, I founded Abdo Empowered as the hernia belts provided to me were impractical, caused leaks, and were uncomfortable at best, and when I found some comfortable belly bands and hernia belts, I knew I had to share them. 🥰

Great read from Sarah Russell of The Ostomy Studio. Sarah is a clinical Pilates instructor, exercise specialist and, has a stoma herself. She also has online classes, and I found her on You Tube. I love her honest, calm style and that she has personal experience with abdominal surgery. Check her out for some real, practical support around living strong following abdominal surgery, and with a stoma.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So pleased you found us too! Enjoy your new found comfort in our hernia belt! 😃

Easy to put on and adjust, comfortable to wear all day. So pleased I found this brand as way better than other ones I had been using. Recommended.
