Day 10 done! The Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) 2026 successfully continued today in Barangay Merced and Barangay San Salvador.

With every child vaccinated, we take another step toward preventing measles and rubella and building a healthier, safer, and more protected Banate.

A Proud Milestone for Banate!

The Municipality of Banate proudly celebrates another meaningful achievement in the pursuit of a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable community.

During the Biyaheng G2 para sa Limpyo Iloilo Summit 2026, Banate received a Certificate of Recognition for its outstanding leadership, commitment, and sustained support in the implementation of the Philippine Approach to Sustainable Sanitation Grade 2 (PHATSS G2).

Adding to this achievement, Barangay Managopaya was also recognized for successfully achieving PHATSS G2 Certification, after satisfactorily complying with the prescribed standards and successfully passing the verification process.

This accomplishment reflects the strong partnership among the Municipal Government of Banate, Barangay Managopaya, Banate Rural Health Unit, Provincial Health Office, DILG, community leaders, partner agencies, and our residents—working together toward safe and sustainable sanitation for all.

Another productive day of the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) 2026 was successfully completed today in Barangay Carmelo and Barangay Poblacion.

We are grateful for the continued dedication of the barangay officials, BHWs, parents, and caregivers who help make this important campaign possible.

Our sincere appreciation as well to the Department of Health Western Visayas Center for Health Development Monitoring Team for visiting and monitoring the implementation of MR-SIA 2026 and for providing valuable support and guidance to our local health team.

Together, we continue to reach more children and strengthen our collective efforts to protect them against measles and rubella.

Another successful day of the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) 2026 was completed today in Barangay Magdalo and Barangay Bariga. 💉👶
