Ang haze ay mapanganib sa kalusugan, lalo na sa mga bata, matatanda, at mga may sakit sa baga. Hanggang sa hindi pa humuhupa ang sunog, narito ang mga paalala sa lahat ng mga residenteng nakatira sa mga nabanggit na lugar:
• Manatili sa loob ng bahay at isara ang lahat ng bintana at pinto.
• Magsuot ng face mask kung kailangang lumabas ng bahay.
• Iwasan ang pag-eehersisyo o mabibigat na gawain sa labas.
• Uminom ng maraming tubig upang manatiling hydrated.
• Mag-ingat sa pagmamaneho dahil sa malabong paningin sa kalsada (low visibility).
• Agad magpatingin sa doktor kung nahihirapang huminga o sumasakit ang dibdib.
