The Integrated Midwives Association of the Philippines,Region XI chapter is an organization that officially represents the Philippine Midwives both in the private and public health settings since its establishment in 1976.

Every year, we ensure the conduct of conference to provide technical updating and renewal of members to the said association.

This year’s practical update is entitled:

The 3rd Professional Run, held in celebration of the 53rd PRC Founding Anniversary and 2026 Professional Regulation Week, was a remarkable success—bringing together professionals, families, friends, and fitness enthusiasts in the spirit of wellness, camaraderie, and active living.

THE IMAP DAVAO CITY CHAPTER proudly participated in this meaningful event, joining fellow professionals in promoting health, unity, and excellence beyond the workplace. It was an inspiring morning filled with energy, determination, and community spirit as we ran towards a common goal of fostering a healthier and more connected professional community.

In celebration of the 53rd Founding Anniversary of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Professional Regulation Week 2026, the Professional Regulation Commission Regional Office XI (PRC XI) invites all professionals, employees, students, fitness enthusiasts, and members of the public to participate in the Professional Run 2026. Now in its third year, the Professional Run continues to serve as a platform for promoting wellness, camaraderie, and an active lifestyle among professionals and the wider community.

In celebration of the 53rd Anniversary of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), PRC Region XI, in partnership with the Accredited Professional Organizations (APOs) in Region XI, successfully conducted a Medical Mission in Indangan, Buhangin, Davao City.

Among the participating organizations was the Integrated Midwives Association of the Philippines (IMAP) – Davao City Chapter, which provided essential maternal and reproductive health services, including prenatal consultations, family planning services, implant removal, and the distribution of baby kits and pregnancy kits courtesy of the Department od Health-Center for Health Development Region XI.

The activity was further strengthened through the collaboration of various healthcare professionals and organizations. Doctors from SPMC conducted free medical consultations and Operation Tuli (circumcision), while the Pharmacy Association of Davao distributed medicines to community members. PAMET conducted health education on proper handwashing and distributed hand soaps, while volunteer optometrists provided free eye examinations.

The Philippine Nurses Association spearheaded the triage team and assisted in the delivery of services, including Operation Tuli.

This meaningful outreach activity highlights the spirit of service, compassion, and collaboration among healthcare professionals in bringing quality healthcare closer to the community. As PRC celebrates its 53rd Anniversary, this medical mission stands as a testament to the profession's commitment to public service and nation-building.
