Healthy Smiles, Bright Futures! 🦷✨

The Rural Health Unit successfully conducted a Day Care Dental Health Activity dedicated to promoting proper Oral hygiene among our young learners!

Led by DOH Dentist Dra. Maria Teresita C. Rallos, together with our dedicated Human Resources for Health (HRH) and health personnel, the team provided flouride administration for a strong health teeth ,essential oral health services, interactive toothbrushing demonstrations, and free dental assessments to ensure our day care children grow up with strong, healthy teeth.

Thank you to our daycare teachers, parents, and community health workers for their active support in keeping our children’s smiles bright and healthy!

Please be advised that our outpatient doctor consultations will be temporarily unavailable from September 22 to 24, 2026, our Municipal Health Officer Dr. Ferman Joaquin M. Gabisan and the Doctors to the Barrios Dr. Mel Anthony Faelmoca attends Training for Community Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP) Facilitators .

🦟Dengue Prevention in Action! 🔎

Today, Our Human Resources for Health (HRH), Sanitation Team, and dedicated Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) joined forces to conduct a Larva Survey at Barangay Talisay Hilongos, Leyte.

This activity focuses on identifying and eliminating potential mosquito breeding sites to safeguard our families from dengue and other vector-borne diseases.

Protecting our community starts at home-
