Polycystic o***y syndrome (or polycystic ovarian syndrome – PCOS) is a complex hormonal condition. ‘Polycystic’ literally translates as ‘many cysts’. This really refers to there being many partially formed follicles on the ovaries, which each contain an egg. These rarely grow to maturity or produce eggs that can be fertilised.

Women who have PCOS may experience:

irregular menstrual cycles – menstruation may be less or more frequent due to less frequent ovulation

excessive facial or body hair growth (or both)

acne

scalp hair loss

reduced fertility (difficulty in becoming pregnant) – related to less frequent or absent ovulation

mood changes – including anxiety and depression

obesity

sleep apnoea.

Note: You don’t have to have all of these symptoms to have PCOS.

Here are some tips for you all to gain weight

1.Eat frequently
Have at least 3 to 5 meals a day to gain some extra calories

2. Exercise to build muscle
Some exercises are for gaining muscle that include in weight gain

3. Increase Protein intake
Take quality protein for muscle building

4. Get Quality Sleep
Sleeping is also very important factor. Take at least 7-8 hours of sleep

5. Avoid drinking water before meals
That can fill your stomach in result you can't eat enough and you'll feel full.

Losing weight is challenging, especially when you feel like you are doing everything right but not seeing results.

By now, most people are aware that you need to consume fewer calories and exercise more in order to lose weight. But if you aren’t seeing any positive changes, it could be that you are following misguided advice.

There are some mistake you're doing while losing your weight.
1. Skipping meals
Don't skip meals you have to take each and every meal just look into the calories
2. Eating too little calories
Take calories according to your body. Taking too little calories can increase your hunger and by this you will eat more and gain weight
3. Not getting enough sleep
If you're sleeping late it effects your metabolism.
4. Cutting out carbohydrates
Carbohydrates are the great source of energy. Don't cut them out you just have to take them in portions.
5. Drinking less water
Take at least 7-8 glasses of water per day.

By avoiding these mistakes you can lose weight more easily.

In the past, experts used the term fiber to describe a type of carbohydrate the body couldn’t digest. More recently, scientists have found that some digestible substances also share properties with fiber, which makes fiber harder to define.

Here are some ways scientists classify fibers.
Soluble fibers come from the insides of plants and include substances such as pectin. They are present in fruits, vegetables, oats, and barley and may help manage blood sugar and cholesterol levels.

Insoluble fibers come from the outer skins of plants and pass straight through the digestive system. They can help prevent constipation. Examples include bran, celery, whole grains, and seeds.
