Welwrd Pharmaceuticals established on 15th April 2005. Welwrd Pharmaceuticals is the member of W Group of Industries. Welwrd Pharmaceuticals started its production from sterile preparations in Injectable dosages. To give Injectable registration, to a very newly established manufacturing unit was a definite merit oriented decision by the Ministry of Health, Government of Pakistan, however Ministry of Health took this decision in favour of Welwrd Pharmaceutical and gave registration of 60 Injectable products. In a very short span of time, we have successfully launched first, second, third and fourth generations of Injectable cephalosporins in Pakistan. Quinolone infusions and long range of general ampoules were added short after. Recently Ministry of Health also has given us registrations of Anti Narcotics. By this decision of Ministry of Health Company is included in ten top ranked manufacturing companies of Pakistan. Now Ministry of Health has approved four new sections of Tablets, Capsules, Suspension & sachet. By the grace of God production in these sections has been started since September 2011
