Basic School Health Screening
To support the annual school health screening process outlined in the EQF Guidelines, Myanmar Health Support (MHS) conducted basic health screenings at Thoo Mwe Htee Garni Learning Center, under the (MECC).
The screening covered key health indicators and basic physical assessments, including body temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, medical and allergy history, visual acuity, Head & ENT examination, eyes and face, heart and lungs, abdomen, extremities, joints and spine, skin, mouth and throat and other basic health conditions.
The findings were documented to support appropriate healthcare follow-up, further assessment, and referral where necessary. This process also helps identify students who may require additional medical attention and supports the learning center in maintaining systematic school health records.
Through this activity, MHS aims to contribute to the implementation of school based health care and support the health and well-being of students at migrant learning centers.
