October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness and encourage everyone to take an active role in their breast health.

Get familiar with how your breasts normally look and feel, and pay attention to any new or unusual changes—including changes in your breasts, armpits, or around your collarbone.

Look out for changes such as a new lump, thickening, skin changes, ni**le changes, or a change in shape or appearance.

If you notice something that doesn’t feel or look right, don’t ignore it. Speak with your doctor and get it checked.
