This Sunday at somahouse.tt 🪷

Let's gather to breathe, to sit, to reflect, and to create.

We'll be focusing on courage, grace, and wisdom through our meditation and contemplation. Then we'll create our own pocket altars as a takeaway and reminder.

This gathering is a part of our Navaratri Programme that runs till next week but can be attended as a stand alone event.

A throwback to Yoga Day observances at the end of the second quarter of the year as we prepare to move into the last.

A reminder that yoga, can support how we move through our lives. We can:
- build our understanding and acceptance of self
- manage our physical body through movement, alignment, observation of our breath and our energy
- tune in to our feelings
- have care for our relationships with self and those around us

How can we learn? Through classes, workshops, events, and retreats that encourage both self-study and community.

📖Join us with a book of your choice when you need a quiet moment during the excitement of Bocas Siparia. This community festival offers two community reading experiences, hosted by The Quiet Chapter, and facilitated by Renee Rampersadsingh.

✨️Free and open to all, we look forward to seeing you on Saturday 26 September for a day of storytelling, spoken word, music & art, readings & discussions, writing workshops & more, for readers & writers of all ages.

✨️Presented by Methanex Trinidad, Bocas Siparia and Bocas Tobago in October build on the regional festivals the Bocas Lit Fest has hosted in the past: Bocas Arima 2026, Bocas Couva 2026, Bocas Central in Chaguanas in 2013, Bocas South in San Fernando in 2013, 2014, 2015 and with Carifesta XIV, SAPA in 2019, and several editions of Bocas Tobago — as well as our longstanding programmes like the Bocas Children’s Storytelling Caravan, and school tours that have taken spoken word and other literary arts to secondary schools the length and breadth of the country. We are excited to connect with even more reading and writing communities across T&T.
