20 years with Type 1 diabetes, and these are 20 things I’ve faced. Some are medical. Many are invisible. The stigma was the hardest, because it’s personal and it follows you everywhere. 💙

If you’re newly diagnosed, a parent, or a fellow T1D warrior: I see you. And if you’re someone who doesn’t live with it, I hope this helps you understand a little more.

Which one hit home for you? Tell me in the comments. 👇

Twenty things I miss about life before diabetes. My pancreas has left the group chat, but I’m still here with a purse that’s 40% pharmacy. 🩸😂

Swipe through, then tell me which one hurts the most. Tag your fellow diabuddy, and send this to the person who still asks “can you eat that?” 💙

My legs & knees got twisted in 2024 when i was down for 11 months & weak to walk.

Since then squatting, kneeling, bending and getting on Bodas has been a problem.💙coz the nerves still pain alot and when stretched to the extreme ,it can be tearful.

The phychiatrist advised to avoid stress (anxiety disorder) & anything that may traumatise the body.Well i find it impossible to exist on earth without stress.

Anxiety + Stress+ Diabetes =😢🥵🥵

Anyways i shifted my energy to care for the body but we sure still have a long way to go🥲🥲
