Hello friends,

# Part 1 of 3

Praying for yourself means personally bringing your life before God, instead of always waiting for someone else to pray for you.

It means talking to God about your own needs, struggles, decisions, fears, hopes, relationships, responsibilities, and desires.

You do not have to wait for a pastor, parent, spouse, friend, or prayer meeting before you speak to God.

When you have made a mistake, pray.
When you need direction, pray.
When you are troubled, pray.
When you are grateful, pray.
When you do not know what to say, you can still come to God honestly.

Praying for yourself does not mean you stop asking others to pray with you.
There is great value in praying together.

It means that your spiritual life does not depend entirely on someone else's prayers.
You learn to approach God personally and make prayer part of your own daily relationship with Him.

Hello friends,

# Part 1 of 3

Depending on others for your spiritual life can look like allowing someone else to do what you should be doing with God.

You may rarely pray unless another person leads you.
You may wait for a pastor, parent, spouse, friend, or leader to tell you what God says instead of reading and reflecting on Scripture.

You may depend on another person’s prayers while your own prayer life remains weak. You may attend church, Bible studies, or spiritual programs, yet struggle to seek God when you are alone.

You may also feel empty whenever the person you depend on is unavailable. Instead of developing your own relationship with God, you experience God through someone else.

The issue is not receiving guidance or learning.
Healthy spiritual growth includes fellowship and teaching.
The concern begins when another person becomes the main source of your spiritual life rather than helping you grow with God.

Hello friends,

# Part 1 of 3

Eating on time means giving your body food regularly, instead of repeatedly postponing meals until you are extremely hungry—or until the day is almost over.

It means recognizing that eating is not something you do only when you have free time. You eat because your body needs nourishment.

Breakfast should not always become lunch.
Lunch should not always become dinner.
And dinner should not be the first proper meal of your day.

Eating on time does not mean that everyone must eat at exactly the same hour every day. Your schedule, work, school, and circumstances may differ.

It means making regular meals a normal part of your day.

Your body works continuously.
So caring for it should also be continuous.

Don't make your body keep asking:
“When will you feed me?”

Make nourishment part of your routine.

Hello friends,

# Part 1 of 3

Breakfast passes.
You tell yourself, “I'll eat later.”
Lunch comes. You're busy, so you keep going.
Evening arrives, and you suddenly realize you have eaten almost nothing all day.

Maybe this happens once. But what if it keeps happening?

Missing a meal occasionally is not necessarily a health problem. The concern begins when missing meals becomes your normal routine.

Your body is constantly working. You need energy and nutrients to study, work, move, exercise, think, repair tissues, and maintain the functions happening inside you—even while you sleep.

So food is not simply something you eat when you have time.
It is nourishment your body depends on.

You may notice hunger, tiredness, weakness, irritability, headaches, dizziness, or difficulty concentrating. Sometimes you notice nothing at all.
And that can make the habit even easier to continue.

So don't only ask:
“Why did I miss this meal?”
Ask:
“Why has missing meals become normal for me?”
Sometimes the missed meal is the sign. Something may be behind it.

To continue reading, check our WhatsApp channel. In there, we've shared about why some people find themselves missing meals regularly.
