I think we might be a lot alike...in that I sense we're aware that connection to #nature in terms of food + beverage + activity + refuge is the foundation of #vibrantlife ☀️🌱... It's easy to see - and hopefully protect - the diversity of wildness *out there* in The Big Nature....but humans are every bit as elegant & complex & diverse as the treasured ecosystems beyond our epidermis... So... I used to follow this training person who barked vociferously about not.being.average. How "average" sux. I mean...I get it...maybe hope and plan for something more than the couch erryday. At the same time...living in reality...most of us with jobs and hobbies and aging parents and kids and community commitments and eyebrows to wax....aren't full-time athletes. We train as often as we can. We make an effort. We show up. We get after it. We eat real food. We dig the effort involved. We care about sleep and light and gut health. But....like....are we exceptional or average? Who knows. I mean, look at me here... Sweaty after what wasn't an XTREME ride doing a paltry number of pushups. This is average. I'm aware of how much more I could do...I'm also aware that physical prowess is only one facet of me. My point? Please don't ever permit your being an average swimmer, cyclist, runner, artist, writer, seamstress, baker, gardener ever keep you from showing up....and trying....or g*d forbid...having FUN with the thing in front of you.

I love meeting other people who maybe operate just a bubble off plumb ( ...um... that's you @rjpxfit 😆) I'm totally interested in where you've biked...in what lakes you've swum... (I love it even more if you're trying and doing these things with chitty, sub-standard gear! Story of my life.)... and if your push-ups or handstands or deadlifts or pullups are improving.
