Our office is planning a gradual reopening on May 4th, if Governor Kelly reopens the state as scheduled on May 3rd.

Due to Covid-19 the following office policies are being implemented:

If you do not have an appointment, please do not enter the building.
Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes prior to your appointment.
Only one patient per appointment- if a child, may be accompanied by one adult.
If you have a fever, or any other symptoms of Covid-19, or have been in contact with anyone who does, please CALL to reschedule. 785-263-1300
Upon entering: You will be asked to use hand sanitizer, asked screening questions, and have your temperature taken. If you have any symptoms, or have a fever greater than 99.5, you will be asked to reschedule.

We realize that these are unprecedented times, and some things may seem unnecessary to you, but we are taking every precaution possible to keep you and our employees safe. We ask for your understanding and cooperation to make this easier for everyone.

Thank you.

Toothy Thomas

Something to make you smile! And, no, your denture warranty does not cover this!

I got some fake teeth for some quarantine comic relief and well... Thomas stole them off of the table. instagram.com/toothythomas

"The Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Bureau of Oral Health, strongly recommends that dental practitioners practicing in the state of Kansas voluntarily suspend nonessential or non-urgent dental care for the next 14 days."

After much consideration to our patients, and our staff, we have decided to go ahead and suspend all nonessential appointments for at least the next two weeks.

We will still be available as needed for emergency care and services for our patients, and office staff will be available to answer calls during our normal business hours.

Thank you for your understanding during these unprecedented times.

With the growing concerns surrounding COVID-19, the health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. We follow all CDC sanitation and sterilization guidelines and would like to assure our patients that we are staying abreast of the evolving situation and taking additional measures for safety.

We plan to remain open to serve people that need us unless otherwise instructed by local public officials. To help us keep you and others safe, we are asking our patients to call and reschedule their appointments if:
You are experiencing symptoms such as fever, coughing, sneezing, or difficulty breathing.
You have traveled internationally or domestically to any areas with confirmed cases within the last 14 days.
If you would feel more comfortable not keeping your scheduled appointment at this time, we understand and would be happy to reschedule you without any penalty.

We are also asking that adult patients come to their appointments alone, and that minors are accompanied by only one guardian to help keep our waiting rooms as sanitary as possible.

Thank you,
Dr. R. Michael Robson and staff

May 6-12 is National Root Canal Awareness Week. You may ask, "Why celebrate root canals?"

During a root canal procedure, an endodontist removes inflamed or infected pulp, carefully cleans and shapes the inside of the root canal, then fills and seals the space. Afterward, you will return to your dentist, who will place a crown or other restoration on the tooth to protect and restore it to full function.

Root Canal Awareness Week celebrates this tooth-saving procedure and the endodontists responsible for saving teeth.
